With a new semester, comes a new team of writers for the Walt Street Journal. New faces and new skills, the WSJ is in great hands with the second half of the year Journalism class. Going into it, we were worried that a smaller class of individuals would make the production of the newspaper harder than it has been in the past. However, it’s proven to be beneficial for communication between the staff. Ideas and brainstorming come to light within every class period, one of which was the idea of anonymous submissions. The idea is for students and staff to reach out about topics they wish to be talked about via the newspaper. The WSJ staff can see who submits, however, when published, the identity of the sender is completely hidden. We are looking for submissions on all issues/topics (school appropriate of course). This is an opportunity for the UPHS community to have a voice!
