With 2024 ending, most people’s minds are focused on the future: New Year’s resolutions, goals for the upcoming semester, post-secondary plans, etc. While looking to the future is important, I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect a little more on the past as well. Our new website launching with this edition has highlighted our publication’s growth, with our previous editor, Bryce Shanafelt, returning to speak about it. In our first year, having our website was a goal, and although it took over a year to get it, it reminds us of how far we’ve come and that things that were once aspirations for the future are now a reality. We’ve come a long way this year alone, something we have to be proud of at UPTV and Multimedia. Both overcoming obstacles and creating new opportunities are hallmarks of Upper Perkiomen students this year, and hopefully, they will continue in 2025.
